Just being lazy!!

Well, here I am, a blogger. I never really imagined that I would have my own blog. I started this because I have so many things that I want to share. The things that come to mind immediately are first, the love that has been bestowed on me by my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. Second is the halarious stuff that goes on within my family. We have the most wonderful and down right funny kids. They keep me in stitches most of the time. Third is just all the other random stuff that goes on inside this crazy brain of mine.

Today in our house it is very lazy. We have had what I would call a busy week. That means that we have had more than one scheduled event this week. I know that makes me sound like a real panzy but I am a fly by the seat of my pants kind of girl. Meara has recently started softball so we have practice two evenings a week. I am not a lover of cooking, but do it anyway. I will soon have to master the art of creative meal planning. Especially for the softball practice days. Those hopefully will be crockpot meals. So any of you on the go moms that have great meal planning skills, I neeeeeeed your help!!! I am a home body but I am being stretched these days. So back to our lazy day. Brett took 2 vacation days this week and worked harder those 2 days at home than he does at work so he is laying low today. He is playing XBox with the kids while I do nothing. Well, I got up with the kids, made breakfast and watched a cute little movie with them called "Lemonade Mouth." It was a Disney movie they DVR'ed. I remember watching cheesy, I mean cute movies like that when I was a young lady. I used the opportunity today to share with them that high school boys don't track you down while you are shopping to tell you that they made a mistake and that they are truly sorry for hurting you. I just don't want them to be set up for a great let down later in life. I wish I could push a pause button on the girls' life right now. They are both at such a precious age and stage. It just goes to fast. Well, that is all for my very first post. I really need to get around and go get our cousin a wedding shower gift since the shower is tomorrow. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. Love, Ashley
